Long time ago, back when PSOne is still in the rage, I used to play my very first Final Fantasy franchise game. The FFVIII (year 2000 was it?). Which is by far the bestest version ever by Square Enix (boo to all FFVII fanbois ;)).
There's a character in the game, visualised to the audience when Squall (the main character) somehow went into trance (I think?) and have a flashback of other people memories. Which was presumably his father (if I recall it correctly).
During the flashback, there's a dialogue between Laguna (Squall's father) and his-soon-mom-to-be. The conversation goes kinda like this,
"..I wanna travel all over the globe. I wanna see new things."
"Really? That's nice. Would you tell others about my village?"
"Nope."
"Aww. Why is that? I thought you like this village?"
"Yes. I do like it very very much. I have a great time spending here with you. That's why I wanna keep it a secret. I don't want other people to come here."
I have my fair share with the blogosphere community if I may say so myself, and during my decent stint, never have I got a reply - from where I commented on the author piece, strike me as royal flush. Maybe one of the reason 'I' swam so quickly the other day (on my mother's womb? got it?).
How I wish to keep the findings a secret. The author's work of art. Never to share it with others.
She's sure had soared far up these days.
