1. Conquered the goddamn summit of Kinabalu. (Happened at the very end of last year actually).
With a 10kg Deuter behind me. And me weighing near 3-digits kilo. Clearly, willpower overule physical limitations.
2. Visited the Land of Sin.
Waited outside of a brothel for friends to finish up their "business" like a moron for like an hour. And being mistaken for liking ladyboys instead for not wanting to enter the establisment.
Ping pong show is scary though. And kinda super exotic in a way.
3. Become the Guest of the Lord.
I used to not wanting to make Umra before. Only Hajj. But after this experience, I am thinking to make Umra at the very least once every 3 years. Thank you khalifahalammaya.
4. Angkor Wat bitches!
Candi Borobudur wait for me!
5. Quit my "first real job".
I think I got a fairly good start in my career than most people...at least that's what I choose to believe in.
6. Arrived at One Thousand & One Night Land.
I learn so much by being here. Which in itself deserve a seperate post altogether. But having said that, I reckon I have enough of the Arabs. Heh.
7. Celebrated one helluva Eid.
8. Missed Metallica concert (This is rather a thing I don't do).
And The Big Bad Wolf (damn son).
9. Visit the legendary Constantinople.
10. Learn to appreciate movies in SD.
And stumbled and watch a whole lotsa very very good movies too!
11. I also begin to enjoy movie without READING the subs.
12. Which turn out to be a discovery of a whole range of great and awesome musics!
13. 2013 also have been fairly, no, surely good to me. I created somewhat a more healthy lifestyle which in tandem made me feel good about myself, which is the most important thing. I exercise religiously. Trying to eat healthy. Pray more. Sleep less. Reduce wasting time...you know the drill.
I also have more times to think about my life priorities, career path and whatnots. These are I think in someway attributable to point number 6. Thank you Baghdad.
I have lots more to say, but, the mood is just not there, I think. This also made me think to make writing more as one of my 2014 resolutions. I miss writing a lot. And I think I enjoy writing. Both in my mother tongue and english.
I hope 2014 will be kind to me.
