Unconditional Love

Having spent the night at the stadium, Abu being an observant lad, learned something profound.

We as a species often say something in passing without actually understand the things we've said. It's stunningly easy to say one thing, like everything in the Heavens and Earth belong to God, or I love you, but it's an entirely different thing altogether to actually meant it.

Despite trailing and then awesomely lead the match, our home country lost the game and by the end of the competition, some of the home fans had already throng to leave the venue. In contrast, the UM stay put and kept chanting the team's various mantras.

It occurs to Abu, what sort of passion could lead to these. Blind following? Frustration venting mechanism? Or simply one's wont after having sing the songs for so many times.

And then it strikes,

A mother doesn't abandon her child even though her love aren't being requited. A genuine movie buff doesn't stop coming to the cinema even after being left frustrated by the poor pissed quality of local films. And so thus a true football fans wouldn't feel betrayed by having experience lost but instead, keep on building the admiration and cherish our team as that's what loving unconditionally requires.
